Christchurch to Wanaka

First thing, I went and met Leyton at New Balance to sort out some gear. Was good to finally catch up and put a face to the emails. Thank you so much for all your support and great shoes and clothing.
 
Then I saw me old mate Smithzzzzz, love ya bro and can’t wait to run with you for a day.

Then south to Oamaru to visit the my sister and her family. Stayed with them for the night on the farm. Next morning I went and met Nick’s mum Jos. She is lovely.
 
Along the road I found some great beaches that I should be able to run along to get off the main road. One is at the Moeraki Boulders where Scott was super friendly and has said he will sort us out with a feed when we come past. Thanks bro!
 
Dunedin was next and a long time between visits, but stayed with Nick and Nicola. We went out for dinner and I watched Nick eat enough food to feed 3 people, funny shit. Told him about what I’ve been up to all over NZ. Also his good mate Boyd and bro Matt came over which was awesome as we had only talked on the phone. Thanks for all your postive vibes guys.
Next morning I headed for home… First I met my cuz Jarod in Momona, and then on through Milton, and up to Roxburgh where my Auntie Gen lives and Uncle Colin – havent seen them both for years. Had a cuppa with Gen and caught up. Then it was Alex andra to see Val and Andrew, and finally made it to see my Dad and Lyn, just in time to watch the ABs take on Fiji.
A great couple of days seeing the family, and some great weather to bring me home.
