New Plymouth – Wellington

Yesterday I had the day in New Plymouth so I went for a longer run down the boardwalk along the beach. It was a great day and I’m kicking myself for not taking the camera, great sights and beautiful beaches. I was feeling great and knocked out a lazy 23kms. Once back, Bublitz had me on the roller and was trying to kill me with some awesome stretches. Lots of funny noises and faces happening from the pain I was going though. The run was easy compared to the stretches.
Then today had to say goodbye to Izzy and Matilda who have given me so many hugs and called “Jup Brown” about a million times, so so cute !!!!  A huge thank you and love you to the Bublitzs for having me xxxxxxx

My cousin Billi also lives in New Plymouth so popped over to see her, and she had some great ideas and friends I could drop in and meet on the way south. Great to see you again Billi, I will be back in Oct. xx
I then drove along the coast and dropped in to see Luke and Claire where the party of the year was going on. Happy Birthday!!!!
The road south along the coast is great and with Mt Taranaki beside you all the way (now with a great snow cap on it) and the beautiful blue skies and ocean I was a happy Jup Brown.

Then I stopped in and met a friend of Billi’s, Diane and her beautiful family in Sanson. I felt so at home and they have even offered to take me and the crew in when we run through. Tim is going to start training so he can join me for a km or two. Looking forward to seeing them again. Thank you for the cuppa and postive vibes.
After a beautiful sunset I finally made Wellington on night fall and had to have the “Roast of the Day” just to feel that little bit more at home. Will hit the South Isl and tomorrow – can’t wait.
