Awesome Day in Auckl and. Thanks Guardian Self Storage&Truck Rentals

Today I got with a mission to buy a van for me and the crew. Had a couple lined up to see and the owners were nice enough and they came to my hotel, as I have no wheels and know nothing about Auckl and. First a nice silver Delica and then a nice Nissan, both great but was set on the Nissan, bit cheaper and all we needed I thought, had the money in my h and and heading for the post office to change the papers over and have said yes I’ll take it, then I get a call from Tim with a Have you bought a van yet? Not yet but minutes away. STOP he says and tells me he has great news of a van for us, I’m like… what? GUARDIAN SELF STORAGE AND TRUCK RENTALS have said they will sort us out with a van for the whole time from tomorrow, an amazing offer, they only heard about what we are doing maybe an hour before they said YES. I can’t tell you how happy I am, and how sorry I am for young Jamie (the guy I was a minute away from buying the van off). Thank you Jamie for underst anding. A huge thank you to the Guardian team. So tomorrow I’m off to Hamilton to pick it up.

Funny how things are working out even down to the last minute. This run is really blessed with some amazing supporters!!!!! Which wouldn’t come about if it wasn’t for my amazingly awesome friends and family.
Then this evening I went out with my camera to see the sights and found the Skytower, 328m high and awesome views. Up I went for a look and a relaxing coffee to 220m and it was great.

Also today I got a new training plan from my great friend Julianne in Australia. J is a physio and an amazing runner, I met her up at Everest Marathon in May where she ran that race with broken ribs after a fall near mid section, and smashed me by almost a hour. Great to have her support and wis dom of training to get me super fit – Thanks Julianne. Hi to your mum too please.
Well a fun day and got somethings sorted, also talked to my bro Hoki who lives up here and he is sorting out some things for us too – cheers Hoki will be over in a week to say hi.
