In the Wanaka Sun Newspaper,Mt Everest run

Was lucky enough to get in the paper yesterday 9th june back in Wanaka NZ, had a write up on what we are up to and about my run at Everest in Nepal. Looks great!!
It took me 8 hrs 5 mins to finish, I got 54th out of 104 overall and 15th out of 54 overseas runners, all the Nepalian runners were like goats on the track and fast ,damn fast. so awesome to watch them in action.
The day started off with light snow and foggy making the already testing glaicer/rock run that much more fun. then of course the start being at 5345m the air was thin but then as we mae our way down lost the fog and air was good, a few hills up and down were both killers but the smiles and cheers from the locals at the villages made it so much fun, for me and everyone it was about getting to the start for a start and just having fun , running with your new friends from the trek up and of course trying to get to the party at Namche at the finish. we had a great night there and then struggled to get up and trek down the valley the next day.
A huge thankyou to Charotte trundle from the Wanaka Sun newspaper who did the article.
Thanks so much Charlotte
